End of Life Sessions

End of Life Sessions

No cost. To anyone. Ever.

Let's start with the most important part. Why?

After tragically losing my best friend at 19 years old, I felt empty. The days and weeks that followed his passing were a whirlwind, and to be honest - I still don't know how I made it through. Once the dust settled, I quickly found myself being pulled towards the death care industry. I found passion where I once only knew grief. I began shadowing in a local funeral home and that was it. I loaded everything I owned into my lime green VW Beetle and moved two states away to attend mortuary school.

As the seasons of our lives tend to do, things changed. I worked in the funeral business in some capacity for ten years, and still do! Although most of my time is currently spent behind the lens, my passion for the death care industry has not waned. It was a pretty wild moment when I realized, "hey - we can do something good with this." And here we are.

"You won't want to remember them like that."

Why not?

"You won't want to remember them like that."

Why not?

Really, why not?

I wish I could revisit every single moment in my life. Even the bad ones. If I knew then what I know now, I'd have taken a few more photographs with a few more people. Raw, real, emotional photos.

Let's be honest...

Whether we photograph it or not, the memory of our loved ones final days will forever be imprinted in our minds. It'll still hurt, even if we refuse to face it. That's the reality. But as long as there's love in the room, we can rewrite the narrative a little bit. I can't make the pain go away. I would if I could - I swear. What I can do is this: I can give you the opportunity - whenever you're ready - to revisit a lazy Sunday afternoon with your loved one that would otherwise be lost to the universe.

I can give you one final family photo.

One more moment.

A shutter click in time.

It is not enough.

But it is something.

So, let's talk.

So, let's talk.
